SK Gaming won the 2010 edition of the Samsung European Championship with a 2-0 victory over mTw. A vivid start from SK on the defensive side on de_dust2 gave the Swedes an early 5-0 lead, before Martin "trace" Heldt's 1-on-3 situation finally put his team on the map. But when it was expected that such round would carry mTw, it would be SK to continue on a roll, and they went on to a staggering 10-1 scoreline. In the last rounds, though, mTw finally picked up the pace and went into the second half down 10-5. In the second session, mTw started off the better, and won the opening four rounds to get dangerously close to SK. However, from that moment on the Swedes responded accordingly and an in-form Jimmy "allen" Allen powered his team to a 16-10 victory. Both teams then entered de_train, where neither side could stamp their authority on the game, with the teams almost taking turns to win the rounds as the scoreboard displayed 8-7 in favour of mTw in spike of Andreas "moddii" Fridh having a great first half. In the second half, it was expected that mTw, now playing as CT, would take control of the match, but Allen proved that theory wrong as he once again was hitting his shots and inspired SK to pick up a 16-12 win on the second map.
